Meeting the Tweedle

This morning John brought the Tweedle to the hospital to meet Oliver for the very first time.  I had missed Ty while I was away and was very excited to see her!  I was also very nervous to see how she was going to act with the new baby...I knew that she would be confused but I hoped that she would be excited.  I was still in Labor and Delivery and was not able to stand up, still had my catheter and was still on my Mag.  I was told to keep the visit to a "non-stress" level because of seisures...UM...have you met the Tweedle???  I was hooked up to tons of machines and had the IV coming out of my hand and had my blood drawn every hour so I was really bruised and sore.

Ty came in and was very excited to see me but then started to freak out a little bit when she saw me...she was saying "mommie owie!" She is so sweet and was very worried about me.  We ate McDonald's breakfast and had the Princess and the Frog playing on the T.V.  We tried to get Ty to be on the bed with me and the baby...and she would for a bit and then she got nervous and wanted to get down and run around.  There were too many sounds, lights, buttons and more in the delivery room and I couldn't get up and hold her and she didn't understand.

She thought Ollie was very cute and wanted to touch him and play with him but she had NO idea what was going on.  She got really frustrated and fussy and they didn't stay very long.  John took her home for nap time!
