FarmGate Apt. 12-102
We moved to Utah over 4th of July weekend from Nashville in 2010. John had a job lined up and we had the cat and our 5 month old Tweedle. We were going to be staying at mom and dad's for a bit until we could find a place. We looked around a lot until we found an apartment that we LOVED! Not only was it brand new but we fell in LOVE with the town of Herriman and all of its surroundings!
We started in a one bedroom apartment with Tweedle and her crib in the master closet like Harry Potter. We were then able to transfer to a two bedroom so that Ty could have her own room. Then Ollie came along. It has been a circus in the two bedroom/one bathroom apartment but we have LOVED living at FarmGate. It was a beautiful home and we have cried every day knowing that we were leaving an area/ward/Smith's that we LOVED so much!
FarmGate was home, a start to a new journey for us and was a wonderful place for our kiddies. We will miss it very much!
This was the building that our 2 bedroom apartment was in. We re-signed our lease here 3 times. We were the bottom left apartment.
I sat in this empty apartment and cried for about 30 min. I have been so excited about buying a house. It truly has been a dream come true but what I wasn't expecting was how much I would miss our little home and area. We have really loved living here and seeing the place empty made me sad.

I left the garage opener, the facility key card, the cable box and mail keys in the top drawer of the kitchen...I wrote a note to the office-dropped it off and drove away...

Last Month's Rent
Today we paid our very last month of rent in our apartment. We turned in our rent, our lease-buy out and our 30 day notice. This is such a crazy feeling. We have been renting for so many years, together and as single individuals.
We are so excited to starting paying on our new home.

Happy St. Valentine's Day!
Tweedle really wanted to make little Valentines for some of her favorite people! So we got on Oriental Trading {love love love} and ordered some darling "kits". Monsters for the boys and Ipods or "talking phones" as ty calls them for the girls!
We had fun sending them to Angie and her kids and of course Grandma and Grandpa got one!
The kids got little Valentine treat bags from Grandma....it worked out great because I got to eat Ollie's and Tweedle got hers! She loved it...

I got a darling card from Derek on Valentine's Day. It is always so sweet that his amazing family keeps me in their thoughts!
I really missed having John home for my birthday/valentine day...mom and dad were out of town...it was kind of a lonely day this year...BUT I love my babies and we had a great day and I got lots of love from them!

Happy Birthday to me...I am 33

Well....another crazy year has come and gone. I LOVE my birthday season! It was kind of lonely this year without my hubby and family around but we had a great weekend with Grandma and Grandpa and John celebrating Tweedles birthday.
Mom bought me an AWESOME 30x40 canvas for me to paint on and I bought myself a few new art supplies to play with!
I also received many amazing messages from family and friends! I have so much support in my life and the journey that I have been taking. It has been so wonderful to have so many people stand by me. I love everyone so much and I am so so blessed.

Many things in my life have aged me beyond what I would like...I have been through more than most lifetimes experience BUT this is me and I am a total wing nut....at 33.

The TWEEDLE is 3!
I can't believe that our little Tweedle is 3. She is getting so big! I am amazed by her every single day! She is so smart and funny and tenderhearted! She LOVES to sing and dance, she loves to play dress up, she loves Disney Jr., Mickey Mouse and Doc McStuffins. She loves her little brother and is her Daddy's best friend!!! We love our little Tweedle!!!

I LOVE our tradition of the double layer HEART cake! This cake always means so much to me because these are the cake pans that my Grandma used to make my heart birthday cake so many years ago. She gave them to me to carry on the tradition! We look forward to it every birthday season!
Mom and Dad came over to celebrate with us before they left out of town on their Valentine trip! We had candles and birthday singing for Tweedle, Me and Dad! I LOVE that we all have birthdays in the same week...it makes it so much fun and a great party!!!
John has been working out of town for so long! We have missed him dearly and decided that he had to be home for the Tweedle's birthday! It was so wonderful to have him home for the weekend! John and Tweedle are best friends....it is so much fun to watch them together! I am so blessed to have both of them!

Oliver is ONE!
We can't believe Ollie is ONE! This year has just flown by! We have been so busy chasing both kiddies around, John being out of town for months, church callings and more! It really has been a circus! We just love Ollie so so much. He is the BEST kid ever!! He is sweet and content and loves his sister and his momma!!! He is growing so fast!!!
He is our dopey sea turtle face and we love him so much!
What Oliver is up to these days:
He is a GREAT sleeper! Ty is a horrible sleeper so we are glad that Ollie is sleeping so well!
He LOVES to climb and he is so so smart. He will push a box over to the window and climb up so he can watch the snow, the cars or whatever! He loves to look out a window!

He is so curious about everything!..And when he is REALLY curious about something his little tongue can't help but hang out!

He is WALKING...heaven help me!
We had a great little birthday party for him! Daddy was out of town but we had an extra special day!
We made some super yummy, super cute party cupcakes!
We were so glad that Grandma came up to celebrate with us...eat cupcakes and open presents!
Grandma got Ollie the "popper" for his birthday but I refuse to accept it or post a picture of it!
It was a great day!!! Happy Birthday Oliver!
